Master Hector | International Lecturer

An International Lecturer.

A native of the Philippines, Master Hector Ramos studied with Grand Master Choa Kok Sui (the founder of modern Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga) for 20 years.

As one of the senior most instructors in the world, Master Hector has been instrumental in spreading Pranic Healing and the higher teachings of Master Choa Kok Sui throughout the Philippines, India, Europe, Australia, parts of Asia, and the United States.

In his classes, Hector is known for his warmth, ease, humor, mysticism and adherence to maintaining a high and pure standard of teaching.

For years, he was the Acharya (spiritual mentor) in charge of the MCKS Pranic Healing Mission in India and of the MCKS Arhatic Yoga Ashram (India) where he led classes, retreats, teacher training programs, meditations, study groups and hatha yoga sessions. Master Hector is now in charge of the Pranic Healing mission in Europe, and travels regularly to other parts of the world.

One of eight Master Pranic Healers in the world.

The title of 'Master' in the Pranic Healing school is given very selectively. It is a rare recognition, given to very few. In order to attain this title, one must demonstrate a high level of skill and proficiency in healing. There are only eight Master Pranic Healers in the world, and Master Hector is one of them.

A Perpetual Student.

At a young age, Master Hector was mentored through the study of comparative religion, and took great interest in Western and Eastern mystical and philosophical literature.

He has a deep knowledge of esoteric subjects and believes, wholeheartedly, in maintaining an honest and consistent practice. Even while guiding students, he is always committed to furthering his own study, knowledge, and spiritual development.

A philanthropist

Together with his wife, Deborah Quibell, Master Hector founded a charitable organization to provide assistance to those in need and to bring spirituality into compassionate action. For more information visit the Gabriel Global Foundation’s website.

The Story

I met Pranic Healing and Master Choa Kok Sui at the age of 19 after suffering for years from a childhood accident.

While undergoing treatment for my physical pain, Master Choa said to me,

You also have to heal your inner pain and spiritual longing.

So, he taught me the Meditation on Twin Hearts. This meditation gave me powerful, mystical experiences for the first time in my life. Experiences that I had always been seeking.

As a teacher, he also encouraged me to study various esoteric books and practice yoga asana. I learned the spiritual system of Arhatic Yoga when I was in my early twenties. These practices and teachings helped me to develop balance between the many different aspects of my life.

My teaching journey began at a young age. After I experienced the rapid and miraculous healing of my mother's burned hand, I began to believe that this healing art should spread to as many people as possible. If I can learn to heal, anyone can. I began to imagine a world where everyone was a healer, and this felt like a pretty wonderful world.

Additionally, I began to have experiences of oneness and love for all beings during my meditation practice, so it felt like a natural consequence to go out and share the teachings which were impacting me so prfoundly. I was first given assignments around the Philippines, and then was sent to India to help begin the Pranic Healing mission there.

I am grateful to be an instrument of these teachings to this day.

Grand Master Choa Kok Sui is the founder of modern Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga.

He is the internationally acclaimed author of over 20 titles on Pranic Healing and spirituality. His first book Miracles Through Pranic Healing (originally published in 1987 as The Ancient Science and Art of Pranic Healing) has been translated into over 27 languages, and is distributed in more than 40 countries.

His work and seminars are the culmination of over 30 years of research and study of the esoteric sciences.

He revealed a far deeper and more thorough understanding of energetic healing than has been available before. Through his study—as well as his close association with healers, yogis and spiritual teachers from throughout the world—Master Choa quickly became one of the greatest masters of energy of our generation and a leading authority on the various applications of prana or “life force”.

Originally a businessman of Chinese-Filipino decent, he created a new standard in the field of energetic medicine, and the seminars developed by him are systematic, structured, easy to learn, and incredibly powerful.

A chemical engineer by training, his students often refer to Master Choa as a “scientist of the soul.” This scientific orientation enabled him to carefully systematize the techniques of Pranic Healing, Arhatic Yoga and various courses on spirituality and the inner sciences in a grounded and practical way.

His courses are designed to empower students to create more balance, success, and harmony across various aspects of their life through the application of energetic principles.

For seekers on the spiritual path, Master Choa has developed a system of practices leading to greater self-realization known as Arhatic Yoga. Arhatic Yoga is a non-sectarian synthesis of various yogic practices—devised to safely accelerate the spiritual development of each individual.

For 20 years, he traveled non-stop—personally teaching students in over 60 countries.

He passed away on March 19, 2007, but his classes and teachings continue through his global organizations – The Institute for Inner Studies and World Pranic Healing Foundation. The work is focused on compassion, healing, spirituality and moving humanity to a more conscious realization of the subtle realms. The philanthropic arm of the organization—MCKS Charitable Foundation—runs feeding programs in various countries, funds medical assistance for poor patients and contributes to disaster relief throughout the world.

Influences

Mang Mike

My other spiritual teacher, Mang Mike Nator is a major influence in my spiritual training and education. I met him in 1987/88 just before I met Master Choa Kok Sui.

He was a kind, generous, loving and humorous person. He loved singing and the piano, and loved food. He was a clairvoyant and an amazing healer. Several of my miraculous healing experiences for myself were through him. He generously taught and guided me in my esoteric studies especially with the books of the Master DK. He shared some of his inner experiences which greatly inspired me to meditate and study. I was the secretary of his esoteric school before I began working full time for Master Choa Kok Sui. I credit Mang Mike for my love of mysticism and the Alice Bailey/ Master DK books. His gentle guiding was also accompanied by a firm disciplining when I crossed certain lines.

Mang Mike was a good friend and co-worker to Master Choa Kok Sui. He clairvoyant monitored many of the experiments done by Master Choa Kok Sui. The two of them were an amazing and formidable spiritual forces for many who had the good fortune to have studied with them.
